2010-2011 Staff
Kristi began dancing at age 4. She trained at two studios (The Dance Center, 10 years and The Dance Company, 2 years) Kristi danced tap, jazz, and hip hop. She was a pom at Batchelor Middle School for 2 years and Bloomington South for 4 years, serving as captain and choreographer for 2 of those years. She holds numerous awards from UDA: 2 year All-Star, Drill Down Runner Up, Drill Down Champion, and 2 Captain's Awards. After graduating high school Kristi worked for UDA as a camp instructor teaching throughout the midwest and judging competitions. Kristi coached Edgewood Junior High and High School pom teams for 3 years before opening the studio in 2001. The studio expanded and became Kicks Unlimited in 2007. The expansion added Cheer, Tumble, and Fitness as well as 5 competition teams. Kristi spent 3 1/2 years coaching JV & Varsity Pom Squads at Bloomington High School North, and one season overseeing the Hoosier Dance Team at IU.
